If springing forward an hour doesn't remind you to change the smoke alarm batteries, lighting really engaging comics on fire will! Tiny living spaces are good for lessons like that.

The Winter is Nearly Done With Us

My commute has been a cold and dark schlepp for months now. It's been the really hard part of this adventure and is now lightening up. This little window of light is only temporary until daylight savings time skews the light more toward evening. So today, Monday, I take a moment to thank the sun for returning. I know it doesn't care so much for me, but it's sunlight allows me to imagine that a few more months of this drive won't be so awful.
